An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 new Internal Business Development Managers to join a growing company that has been a leading innovator of tax efficient products for over 20 years. Valuing flexibility, transparency, and integrity in everything they do, they have built a vast wealth of experience and expertise, which drives their ability to create value & growth for their members. They are responsible for the management of VCT, EIS, IHT relief funds and a range of Public Equity Funds and have raised in excess of £1.4billion for investment products.

As a Business Development Manager, you can expect to receive a competitive basic salary, a sales related bonus and benefits package which includes Pension, PHI, PMI, Life Cover & Income Protection.

Your duties will include:

  • Being responsible for developing and managing IFAs throughout the UK, distributing a unique range of tax efficient products.
  • Developing relationships with intermediaries across the UK, including National and Network accounts.
  • Increasing the use and distribution of our client’s products.
  • You will be focused on enhancing service levels and delivery to your client base and will have the opportunity to attract new business proactively as the business grows.
  • Demonstrating an ability to develop high-level relationships with the IFA community.

An ideal Business Development Manager will hold the following skills and experiences.

  • A clear numerical aptitude coupled with the ability to simplify and convey complicated products to a wider audience is essential.
  • You will be a self-starter who enjoys working as part of a highly talented team.
  • Will understand the true meaning of customer service, showing honesty and integrity in your style.
  • Demonstrating commercial focus, you will have the motivation and drive to be successful in a competitive industry with the ability to generate the activity necessary to reach agreed sales targets.
  • Familiar with the IFA and Wealth Management sales distribution marketplace.
  • The ability to demonstrate an understanding of a telephony sales process.
  • Capable of using CRM systems.
  • Relevant financial services qualifications.

Whilst the head office is London based a flexible home working environment is available and moving forwards it is anticipated that you will split your time between working from home and the office.
