Our client is a highly rated, rapidly expanding IFA/Chartered Financial Planner company, who have been listed in the prestigious FT Adviser Top 100 awards. Due to continued growth, the company is now seeking to appoint an additional Financial Administrator at the company’s newly opened offices in the heart of the City, where you will join a small, dedicated team who support one of the firm’s top IFAs.

Key responsibilities as a Financial Administrator include:

  • Completing the full Annual Review process as a key part of the business
  • Produce valuations
  • Liaise with various product providers, gathering and correlating plan / policy information and ensuring a smooth and timely business process
  • Managing and maintaining a precise record of pipeline and submitted business in order to be able to update clients and Adviser accordingly
  • Sending Letters of Authority
  • Researching products and funds using software such as Select A Pension, FE Analytics and Defaqto Engage
  • General Administration duties
  • Liaise with Compliance Department
  • Create and maintain client files and enter details onto back office database
  • Submitting Business on internal and external systems
  • Working with back office system
  • Monitoring of trail fees
  • Dealing with post, uploading to systems and actioning where appropriate

Key skills, knowledge & experience

  • Broad knowledge of financial products, including both individual and group pensions, Investments and protection
  • Self-motivated & well organised
  • Able to build strong working relationships with both the Adviser & the rest of the team
  • Team orientated
  • Strong communication & inter-personal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a team

Professional qualifications e.g. RO exams, are not essential but would be welcomed & could influence salary. Possibility to occasionally work from home.
