Introducing the New SFR Newsletter

Welcome to the first edition of our company newsletter from all the team at SFR. What better way to kick off our marketing activity than with the opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

At the centre of our proposition and business are valued long term relationships, where candidates have become clients and clients have become candidates and we will continue to work hard so that this theme continues throughout the course of 2017.


Our aim is to keep you up-to-date on all of our new service offerings, vacancies, articles, success stories, competitions and much more and our Newsletter is one of several ways in which we will be reaching out and engaging with you.

 

 
Highlights from 2016

Our New Client Partners 

We are delighted with the uplift in new client partners throughout the course of 2016, whilst at the same time further strengthening existing client relationships and broadening our overall service proposition. Notable success stories include formal partnership agreements with Parmenion Capital Partners, James Hay Partnership, Time Investments and Octopus Investments to name but a few.

Our New Service Offerings

At the beginning of 2016 we set out to try and improve our overall service offering to both our candidates and clients. As the end of the year fast approaches, we are pleased to confirm that we have come a long way in terms of achieving those goals. Our Non Executive Director, Joe Lawless is able to provide guidance to those individuals seeking executive, career transition and outplacement coaching. We have also devised a candidate on-boarding program that is available to our clients which significantly helps employee retention, engagement, satisfaction and productivity. In addition, as a certified accredited McQuaig practitioner, Joe is able to provide a report to those clients seeking further insight into individuals temperament and behavioural patterns which helps make better hiring decisions, lowers turnover and again increases productivity.

Company: A leading provider of VCT, EIS and BPR products
Role: Business Development Manager - North East

Or client designs & manages investment products that help investors look after their financial wellbeing, while their investment partnerships support businesses in their ambitions. We were tasked with identifying suitable individuals to lead the distribution of their products into the intermediary market across the North East region. The successful individual commenced employment in November and with their appointment we have now helped to recruit 65% of the current IFA sales team. We are expecting further opportunities throughout the 1st quarter of 2017 in the London region so please make contact if you would like to discuss in more detail?
 

Company: An innovative specialist in income retirement solutions
Role: Business Development Manager - East Anglia

As specialists in retirement our client was seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to continue to develop it's IFA sales distribution capability across Norfolk and Suffolk. Capitalising on our online advertising capability by working in partnership with our dedicated Advertising Agency we were able to create and launch an advertising campaign within 24 hours of vacancy notification. Having received numerous applications, we identified an individual who was looking to relocate back to Suffolk, having previously been working in financial services oversees. Knowing our client's commitment to helping individuals obtain relevant financial services qualifications and their need for a 'self starter' we were confident that we had identified a good fit in terms of our candidates needs and our clients expectations. From vacancy notification through to acceptance of a formal offer we completed the search within 4 weeks.
 

Company: An established UK provider of tax efficient investment solutions
Role: Marketing Executive - Worcestershire

Our client structures investments using IHT, EIS and SEIS tax reliefs which the government provides and the underlying asset classes are property, renewable energy, media, infrastructure and music. As part of their continued growth and development we were asked to help recruit a Marketing Executive to create and implement a national marketing and business development strategy. From instruction to acceptance of a formal offer, we completed the search within 6 weeks.

Specialisation: A graduate from Coventry University, Lou has been training and supporting companies transfer and build their database structures for the past 15yrs. Having joined SFR in 2014, Lou is responsible for building and maintaining our Client and Candidate relationships through our Recruitment Database, FireFish.
